Envision Energy India, a green tech company, signed an agreement with Evren to supply 152 smart wind turbines of 3.3 MW each, which will be deployed in Andhra Pradesh. Backed by Brookfield Global Transition Fund (BGTF), Evren will install the turbines in the southern state, giving the project a total capacity of 501.6 MW. Evren had in August 2024 announced plans to invest over Rs 50,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh over the next five years.

Evren secured a $100 million investment via the ALTÉRRA Acceleration Fund, backed by ALTÉRRA, Brookfield’s Global Transition Fund II (BGTF II), and other investors. This marks ALTÉRRA’s first direct investment in the Global South. The funds will support the development of up to ~11 GW of solar, wind, and battery storage projects across Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. This effort aligns with India’s ambition to achieve 500 GW of installed renewable capacity by 2030, while also strengthening local manufacturing and economic resilience

Evren’s subsidiary ABC Cleantech Private Limited awarded Suzlon a contract to supply, install, and maintain 214 wind turbines (3 MW each, Hybrid Lattice Tubular towers) for a 642 MW wind power project in Andhra Pradesh. This project is expected to power around 528,000 homes and reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 2.087 million tonnes annually
